Château Laroque is a long-established Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé estate in Bordeaux, owned by the Beaumartin family since 1935. Set on the edge of a rocky limestone plateau above the Saint-Laurent slopes, it is defined by three emblematic limestone soil types and a single contiguous vineyard of old vines, many from authentic massal selections of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Under director David Suire, following the long tenure of Bruno Sainson, the estate emphasizes precise, parcel-by-parcel work, preservation of vine diversity, and élevage adapted to each vintage. Farming is fully organic and HVE-certified. Its wines are noted for expressing the estate’s limestone landscapes with classicism, elegance, precision, and a delicate chalky character.
