Fourcas Dupré is a historic estate in Listrac-Médoc, Bordeaux, on the Fourcas plateau at the highest point of the Médoc peninsula. Dating back to at least the 13th century and named Fourcas Dupré since 1843, it has been owned by Gérard Jicquel since 2019, with Lucas Leclercq as General Manager and Gilles Bergerot as Technical Director. The vineyard lies in a single block on Pyrenean gravel soils with clay and limestone subsoils, a terroir linked here to mineral, complex wines with smoky, roasted notes and good aging potential. The estate holds HVE certification and highlights sustainable viticulture, including reduced treatments, mechanical weeding, organic fertilisation, grassing, and biodiversity-focused practices. Winemaking and élevage are geared toward expressing the character of the Listrac-Médoc terroir.
