Founded in 2007 and family-owned since 2019, Cavas Marevia produces organic, vegan Cava in Requena, Valencia, under the D.O. Cava appellation. The winery is owned by the Hevia Ferrer family, descendants of the Ferrer Sala family, and has been linked to the Freixenet group since becoming a partner in 2023. Its sparkling wines are made from organically farmed vineyards, with a focus on soil fertility, sustainable vineyard management, and responsible oenology. Cavas Marevia holds Sustainable Wineries for Climate Protection certification and operates with renewable electricity, including power generated by photovoltaic panels, alongside LED lighting. The estate’s traditional-method Cavas express the character of Requena’s high plateau and its distinctive mountain-surrounded soils.
