Cascina Bongiovanni is a family-run winery in Castiglione Falletto, at the heart of Piedmont’s Langhe and Barolo area. Founded in 1950 by Giovanni Bongiovanni and now owned by Davide Mozzone, the family manages its vineyards and winemaking directly. Its 7 hectares span Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga, Diano, Roddino and Monforte, with grapes harvested, selected, vinified and bottled on-site. Vineyard work is primarily manual and follows environmentally sensitive, organic-inspired practices, including green manure, while the estate remains uncertified organic. The vineyards include steep, challenging sites, and the approach emphasizes ecological, ethical and transparent production. Compliance with production regulations is verified by Valoritalia, and the estate also follows The Green Experience guidelines for sustainable viticulture and landscape care.
