Rutherglen Topaque

Campbells is a fifth-generation, family-owned winery in Rutherglen, Victoria, led by sisters Jane Campbell and winemaker Julie (Jules) Campbell. With a 50-year history of producing Bobbie Burns Shiraz, the estate is also rooted in Rutherglen’s traditional Muscat and Topaque varieties while exploring new grapes. Its viticulture combines modern programs with a nature-respecting philosophy focused on low yields, without formal sustainability certification listed. Julie succeeded her brother Colin Campbell as winemaker in 2019, continuing the family’s focus on expressive, structured wines, including Shiraz with the power and tannin structure associated with Rutherglen fruit.
