Producer

Brezza

Italy

Brezza is a fourth-generation family estate in Barolo, Piedmont, founded in 1885 and still run by the Brezza family, with Enzo Brezza leading the cellar. The winery is rooted in traditional Barolo production from historic sites including Cannubi, Sarmassa and Castellero, while also making other Langhe wines. Farming is certified organic, with compost, cover crops, green manure, light machinery and hand harvesting used to protect soil vitality and vine health. In the cellar, the approach is deliberately light-handed: spontaneous fermentations, natural yeasts, large Slavonian oak casks, and no filtration for the wines raised in wood. Brezza’s style emphasizes freshness, elegance and site expression over trend-driven winemaking. The family also runs a restaurant and hotel on the property, underscoring its long connection to Barolo and local hospitality.
