Baglio Oro is a family-founded winery in Marsala, western Sicily, established by Giuseppe “Don Pino” Laudicina and developed with his son and son-in-law. Its vineyards reflect the area’s intense sunlight, marine breezes, and mix of native and international varieties, including Grillo, Zibibbo, Nero d’Avola, Syrah, and Chardonnay. The winery combines traditional vineyard work and careful grape selection with modern production. Fully CCPB-certified organic, it uses photovoltaic energy, organic fertilization, biodiversity protection, local materials, and sustainable packaging, while participating in the SOStain Sicilia Foundation and VIVA programs. Its wines express Sicilian character, including the late-harvest Yema, made from grapes left to concentrate on the vine and manually destemmed. Baglio Oro also offers tastings, vineyard and cellar visits, and hospitality overlooking the Egadi Islands.
