Anna Maria Abbona

Italy

Anna Maria Abbona is a family-run estate in Farigliano, in Piedmont’s Langhe, with roots in the area going back five generations. Founded by Anna Maria Abbona and now run by the Schellino family, the winery is driven by Federico and Lorenzo Schellino alongside the family. Their focus is on high-altitude hillside vineyards, organic and sustainable farming, biodiversity, and minimal chemical intervention. In the cellar, they favor limited technology, traditional practices such as hand-harvesting, and careful vinification aimed at expressing each vineyard, variety, and vintage. The estate is especially committed to single-varietal wines with strong territorial identity, including Dogliani from Dolcetto, Barolo from Monforte d’Alba, and early work with the historic white grape Nascetta.
