Koppitsch is a family-owned estate in Neusiedl am See, Burgenland, led by Alex and Maria Koppitsch, who took over the family vineyards in 2011, continuing a winemaking lineage that dates to the 16th century. Working only with their own vines around Lake Neusiedl, they farm biodynamically according to Rudolf Steiner principles, with a strong focus on soil health, humus, and environmental responsibility. In the cellar, they follow a natural, minimum-intervention approach with spontaneous fermentation, no additives, no fining or filtration, and no temperature control; the Perspektive range is made without added sulfites. Their wines are described as precise, vibrant, joyful expressions of place, shaped by the varied soils of Neusiedl am See, including sand, gravel, clay, loam, limestone, and alluvial soils.
