Adega do Monte Branco is a family-owned estate in Alentejo, Portugal, rooted in Miguel Louro’s acquisition of the historic Quinta do Mouro. His son, Luis Louro, now runs the winery and oversees winemaking, while collaborating with Inês Capão on the experimental LouCa line. The vineyards lie on limestone and schist soils and are managed through a comprehensive sustainability program covering planting, vineyard work, production, packaging and logistics. The winery is also designed for efficiency. Alongside its core wines, the estate’s approach combines family continuity with a willingness to explore new ideas.
