Kindzmarauli is a protected name for naturally semi-sweet red wine based on Saperavi and its permitted Budeshuri-like form. It is distinct from dry Kvareli and Mukuzani, even when the same producer makes them all. The sweetness belongs to the finished wine style and does not imply fortification.
