Syrah
An inviting northern Rhône doorway into Syrah, Marsanne and Roussanne.
Black and red berries, pepper and violet, from supple young wines to firmer, more savoury bottlings.
Marsanne and Roussanne.
Pear, flowers and a rounded texture; richer bottles can develop nutty complexity.
Crozes-Hermitage surrounds, but is separate from, Hermitage. It offers both approachable reds and more structured examples, alongside textured whites.
