About Las Heras

Northern-oasis Bonarda

Red

Bonarda Argentina, also known as Douce Noire or Corbeau.

Berry fruit, plum and gentle spice with a juicy, rounded feel.

Mountain-site Malbec

Red

Fresh berries, flowers and herbs with lively acidity and a firm, fine-textured finish.

Mountain-site Pinot Noir

Red

Red cherry and floral detail with a delicate, fresh palate from suitable high sites.

Where it grows: Across Las Heras, north and northwest of Mendoza city, extending into the Andean valleys.

Las Heras is a broad department origin. Lower northern-oasis vineyards and high sites around Uspallata offer very different settings; a more specific vineyard name is especially useful when comparing the wines.
