About Jonkershoek Valley

Cabernet Sauvignon

Red

Blackcurrant, herbs and firm tannins, gaining savoury depth with age.

Sauvignon Blanc

White

Citrus, green fruit and herbal lift with a refreshing dry finish.

Where it grows: East of Stellenbosch, along the Jonkershoek valley below its mountain amphitheatre.

The valley’s changing slopes and exposures create several vineyard settings. Cabernet Sauvignon is a good place to begin; Sauvignon Blanc offers a fresher white-wine route into the area.
