Applegate Valley wines explore a southern Oregon river valley with Syrah, Cabernet and fragrant white discoveries.
Dark berries, pepper and savoury spice with a generous or more firmly structured palate.
Blackcurrant, herbs and spice with firm tannins and a dry finish.
Apricot, peach and flowers with a dry, gently rounded texture.
Applegate Valley is its own AVA within the wider Rogue Valley landscape. Dry summers, differing elevations and varied vineyard soils support a broad grape choice. Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon offer red introductions, while Viognier reveals an aromatic white side. The grape and vineyard name help make this flexible origin more specific.
