About Valle del Maule

Where it grows

At the southern end of Chile’s Central Valley, through the Talca, Linares and Cauquenes vineyard landscapes.

Maule spans inland plains, hills and coastal-facing dry-farmed country. Claro, Loncomilla and Tutuvén identify its major wine zones, with smaller area names adding detail. País connects many growers to a long vineyard heritage, while Carignan is celebrated by the VIGNO producer association. VIGNO is a collective with its own requirements, rather than a synonym for all Maule Carignan. Explore the vineyard origin to distinguish old bush-vine country from the region’s other growing settings.
