San Antonio brings Chile’s Pacific-facing vineyards into focus, with fresh whites and expressive cool-climate reds.
A fresh white style with lively acidity and citrus or herbal detail; lees contact can bring added texture.
Coastal whites ranging from direct, bright fruit to fuller, lees- or oak-influenced examples.
San Antonio is a wine subregion with a strong maritime identity. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are important reference grapes. Leyda lies within its geographical framework, alongside other named areas such as Lo Abarca. A San Antonio label is broader than a Leyda label, so the two names should not be treated as synonyms. Vineyard exposure and the producer’s approach create meaningful differences within the coastal setting.
