Rauco adds a western Teno-zone discovery to Curicó, with fresh Sauvignon Blanc and a family-estate red-wine tradition.
Citrus, orchard fruit and fresh herbs with a lively, dry palate.
Blackcurrant and plum with herbal detail and firm tannins.
Rauco’s wine area belongs to northern Curicó, with river corridors and the Coastal Range helping frame the landscape. The local Las Pitras estate documents Sauvignon Blanc alongside Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carménère. This supports a varied local introduction rather than a claim that one grape dominates every vineyard. Smaller estate and vineyard details help locate a bottle within the broad Curicó origin.
