About Grand Roussillon
Where it grows
Across a broad vineyard area in the Pyrénées-Orientales and neighbouring Aude.
Red vin doux naturel
Grenache.
Sweet red and dark fruit, with dried fruit and cocoa notes developing through ageing.
White and amber vin doux naturel
Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris and Macabeu.
Sweet orchard fruit and honey, gaining dried citrus and nutty depth in aged expressions.
Grand Roussillon belongs to the vin doux naturel tradition. Ageing can add dried-fruit and nutty flavours; it is distinct from the dry Côtes du Roussillon wines.
