Colli Piacentini offers a varied western Emilian wine journey, from aromatic Malvasia to local blends and traditional sweet wines.
Malvasia di Candia Aromatica.
Flowers, citrus and herbs with a fragrant, dry palate.
Cherry, plum and savoury spice with freshness and a dry palate.
Colli Piacentini DOC includes several named wine types, each with its own grape identity. Malvasia di Candia Aromatica provides an inviting white introduction, while local blends reveal other sides of the hills. Gutturnio and Ortrugo now have separate DOC identities and should be read under their own labels. The producer’s exact type, sweetness and bubbles are useful guides within this broad family of Piacenza hillside wines.
