Emilia-Romagna DOC gives Pignoletto a broad protected home, connecting the vineyard landscapes between Modena and Faenza.
Apple, citrus and flowers with a fresh, gently textured palate.
Citrus and orchard fruit with lively bubbles; sweetness varies by wine.
The Emilia-Romagna DOC name identifies a specific Pignoletto wine origin, rather than every wine made in the administrative region. Grechetto Gentile is its defining grape, with still, frizzante and sparkling categories. It differs from the broader Emilia IGT and from Colli Bolognesi Pignoletto DOCG, which has a more focused identity and separate rules. Read the complete denomination and wine type to distinguish a still white from a gently fizzy or fully sparkling expression.
