About Lirac
- Where it grows
- On the Rhône’s right bank, northwest of Avignon and near Tavel.
Lirac reds
Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre.
Ripe berries, spice and dried herbs, with a generous, savoury finish.
Lirac whites
Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Bourboulenc.
Citrus, pear and flowers, with a dry, gently textured palate.
Lirac rosés
Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah.
Red berries and a dry finish, with enough substance for a meal.
Lirac offers all three colours, unlike its rosé-only neighbour Tavel. Its white blends are an especially rewarding detour.
