Leithaberg combines dry Blaufränkisch reds with distinctive whites from the hills west of Lake Neusiedl.
Dark cherry, berries and herbal spice with fresh acidity and firm, fine tannins.
Citrus, apple and savoury notes with a dry, layered palate.
Pear, citrus and almond-like notes with a dry palate and gentle texture.
Leithaberg DAC covers both red and white wine. Blaufränkisch leads the reds, while Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Neuburger and Grüner Veltliner provide the permitted white palette, singly or in blends under the rules. Limestone and schist are important parts of a varied regional soil story. A village or Ried vineyard name adds more precision. The shared DAC therefore links a place and regional character without making every wine the same colour or grape.
