Epomeo offers a flexible Ischia wine identity, named for the mountain at the heart of the island landscape.
Biancolella and Forastera are representative island grapes; IGT blends can vary.
Citrus, apple and flowers with a fresh palate and gentle texture.
Epomeo IGT covers whites, reds and rosés, with several additional wine types under its specification. It is a separate protected identity from Ischia DOC, even though both relate to the same island geography. Biancolella and Forastera offer familiar local white-grape routes, while producer choices can take the IGT in other directions. The name does not guarantee a vineyard on the summit of Mount Epomeo.
