About Wagram

Wagram Grüner Veltliner

White

Apple, yellow fruit and peppery spice with a dry, gently generous texture.

Wagram Roter Veltliner

White

Pear, ripe orchard fruit and nutty detail with a textured, dry finish.

Wagram Riesling

White

Citrus and stone fruit with floral detail and a fresh, dry palate.

Where it grows: Along the Wagram escarpment north of the Danube, with a southern section around Klosterneuburg.

Wagram was formerly called Donauland. Its DAC system distinguishes region, village and single-vineyard origins. Grüner Veltliner is a familiar first choice; Roter Veltliner is a separate white variety worth discovering, despite the colour in its name.
