Rimini brings Adriatic-facing hillside wine country into focus, with Sangiovese reds and the local white-wine name Rebola.
Grechetto Gentile.
Citrus, pear and flowers with a dry palate and gentle texture.
Cherry, red berries and savoury herbs with freshness and firm, dry tannins.
The denomination is now presented as Rimini DOC; older labels and records use Colli di Rimini. Rebola offers a white expression based on Grechetto Gentile, while Sangiovese gives a clear red-wine starting point. Coastal influence and varied hillside exposure create differences between sites. Read the wine’s full name and vintage when following the appellation’s changing labels, then compare the producer’s vineyard and ageing details.
