Arlanza is a high-country Tempranillo discovery, where cool nights and old vineyard plots give northern Castilian reds a fresh edge.
Red cherry, dark berries and herbs with bright acidity and a firm, savoury structure.
Strawberry, redcurrant and citrus with a dry, refreshing finish.
Arlanza’s vineyard landscape includes high, exposed plots and sheltered river settings. Tinta del País, the local Tempranillo name, leads the reds; other permitted grapes allow individual interpretations. Rosado offers a lighter way into the region. Its monastic wine history is part of the landscape, but today’s wines depend on the particular site, grower and cellar choices rather than one uniform regional recipe.
