Arribes rewards the curious with Juan García, rare Bruñal reds and distinctive whites from the dramatic Duero border country.
Red and dark berries with herbal detail, fresh acidity and a savoury finish.
Deep berry fruit, flowers and spice with concentration and firm tannins.
Orchard fruit and floral notes with a dry, gently textured palate.
Granite landscapes, sheltered river slopes and higher ground create varied vineyard settings in Arribes. Juan García is a signature red grape; Bruñal is a rarer discovery with deep colour and structure. Malvasía de Arribes adds a white-wine route. Small parcels and recovered local varieties are central to its appeal. Arribes DO has its own identity and rules, even though the river continues into Portugal’s Douro wine country.
