Riviera del Garda Classico explores western Lake Garda through Groppello-led reds, delicate Chiaretto rosés and other local styles.
Groppello varieties with Marzemino, Sangiovese and Barbera form the local blend; proportions vary.
Red berries, citrus and flowers with a dry, fresh palate and delicate texture.
Groppello varieties lead this expression; the producer’s blend supplies the precise detail.
Red cherry, berries and gentle spice with freshness and fine tannins.
Riviera del Garda Classico DOC includes the Valtènesi subzone and a varied local wine tradition. Groppello brings a distinctive regional red-grape identity, often alongside Marzemino, Sangiovese and Barbera. Chiaretto identifies a rosé expression rather than a white grape. Read the denomination, subzone and wine type together: the wider Garda DOC and other Garda-shore origins have different rules and boundaries. Producer choices give the wines further differences in texture and intensity.
