About Salina IGT

Dry island white

White

Malvasia di Lipari and Inzolia (Ansonica) are island white options.

Flowers, citrus and herbs with a dry, gently textured palate; blends vary.

Island red

Red

Nero d’Avola, Nerello Mascalese and Nocera.

Red and dark berries with herbal and savoury detail, depending on the island and blend.

Salina rosato

Rosé

Nerello Mascalese and Nero d’Avola.

Fresh red berries and floral notes with a dry finish.

Where it grows: Across the Aeolian islands in Messina province, north of Sicily.

Despite its name, Salina IGT covers the wider Aeolian archipelago. It offers white, red and rosé wines, including dry Malvasia expressions that give a different experience from sweet Malvasia delle Lipari DOC.
