About Touraine-Azay-le-Rideau

Chenin whites

White

Chenin Blanc.

Apple, citrus and floral notes with fresh acidity and a dry or softer finish according to the bottle.

Grolleau-led rosés

Rosé

Grolleau, Gamay and Cabernet Franc.

Red berries and gentle peppery spice in a fresh, dry rosé.

Where it grows: Around Azay-le-Rideau, southwest of Tours between the Indre and Loire.

The white and rosé styles have separate grape identities. The château-side landscape makes a gentle detour from Touraine’s better-known Sauvignon wines.
