Del Frusinate offers another label name for the varied wines of Frosinone province.
Passerina or Maturano named-variety wines require at least 85% of the named grape.
Two locally rooted white types highlighted by ARSIAL; the exact grape and producer distinguish each bottle.
Examples of explicitly permitted named red varieties; not a compulsory blend.
Red and rosé wines range across local and international grapes.
At least 85% Cesanese Comune and/or Cesanese di Affile.
A separately specified dried-grape red expression.
Del Frusinate is an alternative name for Frusinate IGT, not a separate vineyard area. The same protected origin permits white, red and rosé wines alongside further specified types. A producer may choose either name on a bottle. Compare grape, vineyard and wine type, rather than treating the two wordings as different terroirs.
