Malbec
A precisely defined Uco origin, with Malbec among stony, carbonate-marked river soils.
Violet, berries and herbs with lively acidity and a firm, finely textured finish.
Dark berries, herbs and savoury spice with a structured palate.
Citrus, orchard fruit and a dry, layered texture, sometimes with nutty development.
Paraje Altamira’s geographical indication was defined through study of its landscape and soils. Stones and carbonate deposits are important features, but individual plots differ; the name points to a specific origin rather than a guaranteed flavour.
