Vermentino
Vermentino di Sardegna offers an island-wide introduction to Sardinia’s best-known white grape.
Citrus, white peach and herbs, often with a fresh palate and gently bitter finish.
Fresh white fruit and citrus in a sparkling expression; sweetness varies.
Vermentino di Sardegna DOC is distinct from the smaller Vermentino di Gallura DOCG. Its broad island origin allows varied vineyard settings and producer interpretations. Still, frizzante and spumante types belong to the range. Fresh citrus and herbal notes make an inviting starting point, while lees and ageing choices can add more body and texture.
