Alghero offers a lively meeting of Torbato whites, Cagnulari reds and Sardinia’s northwestern vineyard traditions.
A fresh white with citrus and orchard-fruit notes; texture depends on lees and ageing choices.
Dark berries, spice and savoury notes, with tannins ranging from supple to firm.
Torbato.

Alghero DOC embraces several grapes and wine types. Torbato offers a particularly inviting white-wine trail, including sparkling bottlings, while Cagnulari introduces a local red voice. The denomination also accommodates international varieties. Its Vermentino-labelled type is frizzante, a useful distinction from the separate Vermentino di Sardegna DOC.
