Calabria IGT opens a broad route through the region’s local grapes and contemporary wine styles.
Calabria IGT offers a wider geographical and stylistic framework than the region’s smaller DOCs. Red, white and rosé wines sit alongside sparkling and dried-grape expressions. Local varieties and international grapes both have a place. The designation therefore invites discovery rather than promising one blend: follow the grape, site and wine type to understand the producer’s particular interpretation.
