Locride follows Calabria’s southeastern wine country through a broad range of local expressions.
Locride IGT includes white, red and rosé wines, with a particular dried-grape white type also recognised. Its geographical reach is wider than the small Greco di Bianco DOC and the two names are not interchangeable. A producer’s grape and method information is especially useful. Compare a fresh still wine with a concentrated passito to explore the area’s range.
