Vermentino
Vermentino di Gallura gives Sardinia’s signature white grape a distinct northeastern home.
Vermentino.
Citrus, white flowers and stone fruit, often with a rounded texture and a gently bitter finish.
Vermentino di Gallura DOCG belongs to a defined northeastern area, rather than the whole island. Vermentino leads its whites, with citrus, floral and ripe-fruit expressions shaped by vineyard and cellar choices. Compare the standard wine with Superiore and other stated types; a Gallura origin does not by itself imply oak ageing or sweetness.
