Celler del Cesc

Spain

Celler del Cesc is a family-owned operation based at the La Pedra Blanca Estate in Alt Penedès, Barcelona. Its vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically, with cover crops, phytotherapy and dry-farming, and are certified by CCPAE and Demeter. The estate includes a one-hectare reclaimed plot on calcareous loamy soils, farmed organically. Production is highly small-scale: the 2017 Can Credo Xarel·lo yielded just 1,633 bottles. Harvesting, winemaking, ageing and bottling are all carried out on site, reflecting a hands-on approach rooted in the vineyard.
