Julius Bolle Macerato Colli Piacentini Frizzante

Bulli is a fifth-generation family estate in the Colli Piacentini hills of Emilia-Romagna, run by Leonardo Bulli and his mother, La Signora Bulli. The vineyards include sites around San Faustino, Montemaggiore and Gorgognano, as well as the Amerio vineyard in Alseno at 400 meters, on limestone and mildly alkaline soils. Bulli follows a natural, low-intervention approach, with organically grown fruit, spontaneous fermentation and traditional metodo ancestrale. The wines are made without added sulfur dioxide. The estate is described as practicing organic and sustainable farming, though no formal certification is noted.
