Producer

Tatomer

United States

Tatomer is a boutique California producer founded in 2008 by Graham Tatomer, focused on bone-dry Riesling and Grüner Veltliner from cold-climate Central Coast vineyards. Tatomer began working in wine at 16 and later spent three harvests in Austria at Weingut Knoll in the Wachau, shaping the estate’s varietal focus and style. Fruit comes from site-specific vineyards including Kick-On Ranch, Oliver’s, Paragon, and Lafond in the Santa Rita Hills. The vineyards are dry-farmed with low yields and a low-intervention farming approach, though no formal sustainability certifications are noted. The winery is owned by Steve Lyons, with vineyard and winemaking operations largely handled by Jeff Frey.
