Pierre Girardin

France

Pierre Girardin is a family-owned, 13th-generation Burgundy domaine led by Pierre-Vincent Girardin, who established his own estate from vineyards retained by his father Vincent. Based in Burgundy and working across Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, the domaine combines its own parcels with long-term grower contracts. Farming follows organic viticulture, with organic-friendly products and reported biodynamic practices on some sites. In the cellar, Pierre-Vincent works with Eric Germain, favouring low-intervention methods, indigenous yeasts, and bottling unfined and unfiltered, while whites are raised in custom 456-litre oak barrels. The style is focused and artisanal, rooted in family continuity and careful vineyard sourcing.
