Château Le Rey is an estate in Castillon, Bordeaux, owned since 2016 by Peter Kwok, Philippe Lambrecht, and Jean-Christophe Meyrou under the family-run Vignobles K group. The vineyard, with clay-limestone terroir and parcels Les Argileuses and Les Rocheuses, holds High Environmental Value certification and is transitioning to organic farming, using polyculture, agroforestry, truffle trees, and beehives. Winemaking is led by Jerome Aguirre with consultant Michel Rolland, emphasizing environmental balance. The wines, primarily from Merlot and Cabernet Franc, reflect the distinct limestone and clay soils.
