Producer

Hobo Wine Company

United States

Hobo is a family-owned California producer founded in Sonoma County by Kenny Likitprakong, who remains the sole winemaker. Based in Santa Rosa, the company focuses on Sonoma County while also working with selected growers in other California regions through long-term vineyard relationships. Farming and sustainability are central: Hobo works with organic and biodynamic practices, completed organic certification in 2023, favors dry-farmed sites, and avoids inoculations and excessive manipulation. The winery also emphasizes low-impact packaging, including recycled glass, natural corks, and capsule-free labels, and supports environmental causes through 1% for the Planet. Its range includes projects such as CAMP, created to offer accessible Sonoma County wines from certified organic grapes, Banyan, inspired by wines for Southeast Asian cuisine, and Ghostwriter, dedicated to the Santa Cruz Mountains.
