Domaine Matrot

France

Domaine Matrot is a historic family estate in Burgundy, founded in 1835 and still family-held today. Since 2016 it has been run by sixth-generation sisters Elsa and Adèle Matrot, continuing a line of family winemakers that includes Thierry Matrot and founder Pierre Matrot. The vineyards are cultivated organically, reflecting a clear commitment to sustainable farming. The label still bears the names of their parents, Thierry and Pascale, and the property is divided among three family entities, underscoring the domaine’s deeply rooted family character.
