Villa Terlina

Italy

Villa Terlina is an agricultural winery in Agliano Terme, Piedmont, where biodynamic farming guides its relationship with the vines and the varied local soils. Following Rudolf Steiner’s principles, the estate emphasizes observation, empathy, herbal preparations, and cooperation with nature rather than domination. In the cellar, the team seeks to understand each vintage, allowing fermentation and aging to develop naturally and giving the wines time to find balance. The area is historically associated with distinctive, structured, long-lived Barbera, shaped by marly-calcareous, silty, clayey, and gypsum soils. Villa Terlina’s listed wines include Bricco Francìa, Pietre di Luna, Monsicuro, Piediferro, and Gradale. No formal biodynamic certification is reported.
