Torrent Bay is a label of Anchorage Family Estate, a family-owned and operated winery founded by the Drummond family in Nelson’s Motueka region. The integrated local team manages the process from vineyard care through winery operations, bottling, and dispatch, crafting the wines locally from vine to bottle. Fruit is sourced from vineyards in Motueka, Riwaka, and Moutere, where rich soils, coastal breezes, and abundant sunshine support expressive, aromatic wines. The estate has farmed in the area since 1866 and is committed to high-quality winemaking and sustainability, including participation in Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand™.
