Founded in 1958 and formally incorporated in 1970, Bully Hill Vineyards is a Taylor family-owned and operated winery in Hammondsport, in New York’s Finger Lakes region on Keuka Lake. Walter S. Taylor, a fourth-generation family member, serves as winemaker and continues a grape-growing lineage dating to 1878. The winery produces a broad range of styles from vinifera, hybrid, and native varieties, including dry reds, Riesling and other white wines, sparkling wines, fruit wines, and classic American varieties such as Concord and Niagara. Some wines use estate-grown grapes, including the Estate Red Bordeaux-style blend. Its property also includes the FLX Wine Museum and Walter S. Taylor Art Gallery.
