Parker Coonawarra Estate is a privately owned family producer founded in 1985 by John and Faye Parker in Coonawarra, South Australia. Its Abbey vineyard lies on the region’s noted terra rossa “cigar strip” and is planted mainly to Cabernet Sauvignon from Reynella selection, with smaller parcels of Merlot and Petit Verdot. The estate’s approach includes closed-top fermentation, some extended maceration, stainless-steel malolactic fermentation, and maturation in French oak barriques. No sustainability certifications or named winemaker are disclosed in the available information.
