Domaine Sylvain Bailly

France

Domaine Sylvain Bailly is a family-owned Sancerre estate in the Loire Valley, with roots dating to the 18th century. Its vineyards span Bué, Sancerre, Crézancy, Montigny, and Quincy, planted mainly to Sauvignon Blanc alongside Pinot Noir, and produce white, red, and rosé wines. Jacques Bailly runs the domaine with his family, while daughter Sonia—who joined the winemaking in 2007—and her husband Matthieu now lead operations. The vineyards are farmed sustainably and with respect for nature, prioritizing efficiency and reduced environmental impact, though no formal certification is specified.
